Golden Rune [4] is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring that grants 1,200  Runes upon use.

Where to find Golden Rune [4] in Elden Ring

Caelid:

• Two Golden Runes (4) within Sellia Gateway. First one is on top of the gateway, held by a dead body inside one of the towers. The second one is at ground level, on the path to Church of the Plague, on a broken pillar. [Map Link]
• Two found within the Gaol Cave.
• One held by a corpse inside a ruined building in Street of Sages Ruins. [Map Link]

Limgrave:

• While getting down on the elevator that leads to the Limgrave Tunnels, you will notice two branching paths. Jump to the lower one, at the end you will find a body containing a Golden Rune [4].
• Highroad Cave: Through narrow route in the lower tunnels.
• Siofra River Well: On the large flight of stairs next to the waterfall, loot the body draped over the handrail.
• Found by looting the sarcophagi at the south of Mistwood. [Map Link]
• Looted from a dead body hanging from the higher level in the main hall in Stormveil Castle. [Map Link]
• Found on one of the dead bodies at the ramp in Stormveil Castle. [Map Link]

Liurnia of the Lakes:

• Looted off a corpse that's sitting on a ledge. Past the first two Marionette Soldiers, you encounter on the rooftops of Raya Lucaria Academy. [Map Link]
• Highway Lookout Tower. Held by a corpse in the middle of the area. Beware of the Spirit Wandering Nobles that manifest upon entry. [Map Link]
• Two (2) found within the sarcophagi in West Liurnia of the Lakes. [Map Link]
• Liurnia's North Sarcophagi: Looted from the many sarcophagi within the area. Watch out for the Giant Rats. [Map Link]
• Liurnia's North-East Sarcophagi: Looted off Liurnia of the Lakes' north-east sarcophagi. [Map Link]
• Raya Lucaria Academy: Held by a corpse situated on top of the roofs of the Academy. [Map Link]

  • (2) Held by a corpse lying against one of the stones.
  • (3) On a corpse lying against one of the walls of the small garden, next to the stairs.

  • (2) On a noble's corpse at the 2nd floor's balcony.
• Academy Gate Town: Held by a corpse inside the chapel in ruins, surrounded by Albinaurics. [Map Link]
• Caria Manor: Held by a corpse near the center of the courtyard. [Map Link]
• Caria Manor: On a dead body at the manor grounds. [Map Link]
• Carian Study Hall: In a circular balcony of the tower, held by a dead body. [Map Link]
• Highway Lookout Tower: Held by one of the bodies surrounding the fire. [Map Link]

Leyndell, Royal Capital:

• Found next to a big stone at the very north of Leyndell Royal Capital. [Map Link]

Altus Plateau:

• Altus Plateau: Found over the sarcophagi directly to the southof Sainted Hero's Grave. There are also x2 Golden Rune (6) nearby.  [Map Link]
• The Shaded Castle: Found on a corpse laying on the outer edges of the northwestern building. You can reach this area by climbing a ladder along the western walls of the main keep's grounds. [Map Link]
• Mt. Gelmir: Can be found on a corpse at Mt. Gelmir near the Minor Erdtree. [Map Link]
• Wyndham Ruins: Can be found on a sprawled out body in Wyndham Ruins, to the left of a huge archway. [Map Link]

Mt. Gelmir: 

• Can be looted from the open tombs in the gravesite on west Mt. Gelmir. [Map Link]

Weeping Peninsula:

• One can be looted off a corpse inside the small shack in Morne Tunnel. [Map Link]

Siofra River:

• South Siofra River on a corpse within the stairs. [Map Link]
• At the Nokron bridge. [Map Link]
• Near a Giant Land Octopus in Hallowhorn Grounds. [Map Link]

Golden Rune [4] can be used as a quick item (or directly from the inventory) to gain 1200 Runes. Alternatively, it can be sold to a merchant for the same value.
